Interceptive Orthodontic Treatment
Early orthodontic treatment, also called interceptive orthodontics or Phase 1 orthodontics, is a proactive approach to addressing orthodontic issues in children at a younger age. By identifying and treating problems early on, we can often reduce the severity of issues and avoid more complex treatment later. Benefits include improved oral health, shorter overall treatment times, reduced need for extractions, and a better chance of achieving a beautifully aligned smile. Early intervention sets the foundation for a lifetime of healthy and confident smiles.
Braces
Braces correct teeth alignment by placing a constant, gentle force in a controlled direction using brackets and archwires. At Woodard Orthodontics, we offer metal braces and clear ceramic braces. Both of these options use advanced modern technology to gently and effectively straighten your teeth.
Don’t worry about wearing the clunky braces of the past! Braces correct teeth alignment by placing a constant, gentle force in a controlled direction using brackets and archwires. Modern braces use advanced technology and are designed to be smaller and more comfortable. We also offer ceramic braces, which are almost invisible!
Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces used today, but these aren’t the clunky braces you might remember from decades past. Metal braces today are more compact, efficient, and comfortable than ever. Although metal braces are noticeable, the colorful ligatures provide a fun opportunity to show your style and personality on your smile!
Clear Ceramic Braces
Clear ceramic braces are made from translucent materials and offer a discreet alternative to traditional metal braces. These braces provide effective teeth straightening while maintaining a more subtle appearance, which makes them perfect for those seeking a low-key orthodontic treatment with all the benefits of traditional braces.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic solution with a series of custom-made, clear, removable aligners that gently guide your teeth into their desired positions. Invisalign is virtually invisible, comfortable, and removable, making it easy to maintain your lifestyle and oral hygiene throughout treatment. Say goodbye to metal brackets and wires, and embrace the convenience and confidence that Invisalign can bring to your smile transformation!
